The new Big Boards ecosystem

Big Boards are how scouts, analysts, and fans rank the incoming NFL draft class. They're now a first-class surface on FanSpeak — and they connect directly to On The Clock so any board can power a mock draft.

What Big Boards Are

A Big Board is an ordered list of college prospects. Every player on the board is a real CFBD-keyed roster entry with refined positions, real measurables, and live season stats. Boards have a year (the NFL draft year they're targeting), an author, and a sharable URL.

We curate a small set of "featured" boards that ship pre-built for each draft cycle:

  • Fanspeak Official — our in-house consensus, the default starting point.
  • MDD Consensus — sourced from MockDraftDatabase, aggregating the top public mocks.

Featured boards always reflect the latest data — they re-hydrate against the CFBD pipeline on every page load.

Build Your Own

Free accounts get up to 3 boards. Premium accounts are uncapped. Both can seed a new board from any featured board or start from scratch. The editor supports drag-to-reorder, position filters, player search, and a "move to rank" precision input for big jumps.

Drafting Against Your Board

Every board has a Draft With Board button that hands you off to On The Clock with that board's player order pre-loaded. The simulator picks for your CPU opponents using your board's rankings as the source of truth — so a great pick on your board is a great pick in the draft.
